Tere!
My name is Steivi, and I’m from Tallinn, Estonia. Estonian is my mother tongue, but I also speak English, Swedish, some Russian, and now I’m learning Finnish. Languages have always fascinated me, and I know exactly what it’s like to be in a new country without knowing the local language.
In the summer 2018, I moved from Estonia to the Åland Islands without speaking Swedish. I had to learn it quickly to find work, integrate into the community, and make new friends. I completed my studies at the local university in Swedish. I also founded my travel company, Åland Tours, where we offer private guided tours.
Teaching has always been a passion of mine. I started by helping my foreign friends learn Estonian, and I found it incredibly rewarding to see them gain confidence and start speaking. Now, I am based in Finland and offer Estonian courses online to help learners like you achieve their language goals.

Worked both part-time and full-time as a cleaner, waitress, kitchen assistant, administrative assistant, responsible gaming specialist, and community manager, owner of Åland Tours.

Moved from Åland to Finland and become full time language teacher. Teaching Estonian and Swedish for all levels.
